Your senior year deserves to be celebrated, and your portraits should reflect who you truly are. At Courtney Mitchell Photography, senior sessions are thoughtfully planned around you, not trends or one-size-fits-all locations.

We begin with an in-person consultation to get to know both seniors and parents, talk through ideas, and design a session that feels personal and intentional. From hobbies and interests to style and personality, every detail is considered so your portraits feel authentic and timeless.

After the Session

After your session, you’ll return to the studio for a personalized ordering appointment where we’ll view your images together. I’ll guide you through selecting your favorites and help you choose the best way to enjoy them, whether that’s statement wall art, custom albums, gift prints, or digital collections.

Your investment is designed to be flexible and tailored to you. Rather than choosing everything upfront, you’ll have the opportunity to see your images first and then decide how you want to preserve and display this once-in-a-lifetime season.

Investment & Session Fees

Senior portrait investment is made in two parts: the session experience and how your images are finished.

A session fee is required to reserve your date and covers the time, planning, and expertise that go into creating your custom senior experience. Session fees start at $125 and vary depending on which session you choose. Artwork and digital images are selected separately during your ordering appointment through our Create a Collection process, allowing you to choose what best fits your style, your home, and your vision.

The Signature Senior Experience

A once-in-a-lifetime senior experience.

The Signature Senior Experience is our most complete and personalized senior portrait experience and is designed to capture who your senior is in this once-in-a-lifetime season. This experience combines studio portraits with up to two on-location settings for a fully customized session that reflects their personality, style, and story.

This session includes extended time, multiple outfit changes, customized planning and consultation, professional posing and expression guidance, and a guided ordering appointment. Printed artwork and digital images are not included with the session fee. Finished portraits are thoughtfully designed during the ordering appointment, allowing families to invest in wall art, albums, and heirloom pieces created to last for generations.

The Signature Senior Experience is ideal for seniors who want a highly personalized experience and for families who value storytelling and legacy artwork designed to make a statement in their home.

The Elevated Senior Experience

Elevated, polished, and thoughtfully styled.

The Elevated Senior Experience is designed for seniors who want a polished, editorial look with a bit more variety. Sessions may take place in the studio and around downtown Sherman, or at one thoughtfully chosen on-location setting, allowing for an experience that feels elevated while remaining focused and intentional.

This session includes extended time, multiple outfit changes, and professional posing and expression guidance. Printed artwork and digital images are not included with the session fee. Finished portraits are selected during a guided ordering appointment, where families design wall art, albums, and heirloom pieces created to last for generations.

The Elevated Senior Experience is ideal for seniors who want portraits that feel confident and refined, without the full scope or storytelling approach of the Signature Senior Experience.

The Studio Senior Experience

A custom session designed to build something meaningful.

The Studio Senior Experience is an in-studio senior portrait session designed for families who want a personalized experience and flexibility in how their portraits are finished and displayed. This session includes up to 60 minutes of studio time, professional posing and expression guidance, and up to three outfit changes in a relaxed, guided setting.

Printed artwork and digital images are not included with the session fee. Instead, families design their portrait collection during a guided ordering appointment, selecting wall art, albums, and digital images that fit their home and style.

This experience is ideal for families who want intentional, timeless senior portraits with the freedom to invest in finished artwork they will enjoy for years to come.

The Essential Senior Session

Just the essentials. Nothing extra. Everything that matters.

The Essential Senior Session is a streamlined, studio-only senior portrait experience designed for families who want professional senior portraits with a clearly defined investment. This session includes up to 45 minutes of studio time, professional posing and expression guidance, and two outfit changes.

The Essential Senior Session includes five finished digital images, print-ready up to 8×10. This experience is ideal for seniors who want beautiful, classic portraits without the extended time or customization of a larger session.

Availability is limited to select weekdays.
